Kat takes pride in being an active part of her community and enjoys volunteering often. On 11-11-11 Kat organized a fund raiser where all the proceeds went to an orphanage in Tanzania, Africa. She also held a trunk show for Bead For Life which supports the Ugandan women who make beads out of paper, soaps, and handmade products. Kat also works with special-needs clients (Alzheimer's, dementia, and people with disabilities). Following are other organizations Kat has been involved with:

• Park Manor Rehabilitation in Middletown, New York
• Boys and Girls Club in Cottonwood, AZ
• Donated "Stocking Stuffed Gift Bags" to children in the city of Newburgh
